Help your child know what comes next.

Sol y Luna is a visual schedule for autistic children. It shows what's happening now and what comes next, and gives a heads-up before every change, using pictures and a calm voice.

We made it with autistic children in mind, and it works for any child who does better knowing what comes next, including children with ADHD, Down syndrome, language delays or anxiety.

What changes in their day

Knows what's coming

The big screen shows what's happening now and what's next, with a circle that shrinks as time runs down. Before each change, a soft chime plays and a voice says what's next, so transitions don't come as a surprise.

Has a voice

If your child doesn't speak, the "I want to say" board speaks for them. They tap "Water", "Hug" or "What's next?" and the app says it out loud.

Actually free

Everything your child needs for the day is free forever, and their screens never show ads. It even works without internet.

How it works

  1. Set up the day in a few minutes: a time, a picture and a word for each activity.
  2. Your child follows it on their own: they see "Now" and "Next", and tap "I'm done!" to earn stars.
  3. Something different today? Move, change or skip an activity just for today. Tomorrow everything goes back to normal.

Free forever

  • The day's schedule with "Now" and "Next", and the circle that shows how much time is left.
  • Sound and voice warnings before every change.
  • The "I want to say" board with the core words, spoken aloud.
  • English, Spanish, Portuguese and French, with a second language underneath if your family speaks two.
  • The sky in the background follows the real time of day: sunrise, sunset and the moon coming out.
  • Works without internet.

Potty trainer

Potty training can be one of the hardest steps for an autistic child: the noise of the flush, the cold seat, not noticing in time. Sol y Luna takes it one step at a time.

  • Picture steps for the bathroom: pants down, sit, wipe, flush and wash hands. These steps are free.
  • Gentle reminders to go sit at regular times. You choose how often and stretch it out as they make progress.
  • A special sticker chart and a celebration when they make it.
  • Stories that get them ready, like "I use the toilet" and one about the flush noise.
  • A mode for bathrooms away from home, which are often the hardest.
  • A simple log (dry, tried, made it) to see their progress or show their therapist.

What you log about the bathroom is private: it stays in your family and never appears in a shared report unless you turn it on.

Sol y Luna Premium

What your child needs every day stays free. Premium is for families who want more for their child to do and less work for the parents.

  • The whole family on one schedule. Your child's tablet, your phone and their other parent's, grandma's or the therapist's all see the same thing right away.
  • The full potty trainer. On top of the free picture steps: reminders to go sit, their sticker chart, the stories that get them ready, the mode for bathrooms away from home and a log of their progress.
  • Coloring books, calm games and stories for hard moments like the dentist, a haircut or a new school. New content every month.
  • Their own photos and your voice. Use a photo of their real toothbrush and school, and record your voice so the board sounds like mom or dad.
  • The full board, with more words sorted by food, feelings and places.
  • Progress reports to share with their therapist by email or WhatsApp.
  • Several children on one account.
  • No ads on any screen, including the parents'.

Why it exists

As parents, we want to know we're taking the right steps for our children. Marco and Itzel built it for their son Chuki, and into Sol y Luna they put all their love and everything they learned along the way. Chuki uses it every day on his iPad. Now we want every family to have it.

For therapists and schools

If you're a therapist or work in a school, Sol y Luna uses what you already know: a visual schedule, "Now and Next", transition warnings and a communication board. It works the same for autistic children and for children with ADHD, Down syndrome or language delays. You can recommend it to families at no cost, and it keeps no data about the child beyond what the app needs to work.

Questions

Is it free?

Yes. Everything your child uses during the day is free forever. Later on there will be optional extras for families who want them.

Will my child see ads?

No. Your child never sees an ad, in any version. In the free version, parents see one ad while setting up the app and a small one on their own screens. Your child's screens are always clean.

Does it work if my child isn't autistic?

Yes. A visual schedule helps any child who feels calmer knowing what's coming: children with ADHD, Down syndrome, language delays or anxiety, or little ones who can't read a clock yet.

What data do you keep?

On this site, only your email and language, so we can tell you when it launches. We don't use cookies or tracking. In the app, your child's data belongs to your family: we never sell it or use it for ads.

Which devices does it work on?

iPad, iPhone, and Android tablets and phones.

When does it launch?

We're finishing testing with Chuki. Leave your email and we'll let you know the day it's out.
